At the City Gallery

Graphic Design by Gil Shuler

My dear friend, David Boatwright, has a show coming up at the City Gallery, which opens on April 6th. He has a load of great new canvasses, some of which I have seen and absolutely love. As many of my Charleston readers know, David is Charleston’s premier muralist. He will be painting two large-scale murals on two of the gallery walls while the show is up. On May 13th there will be a big, closing gala, including music by the famous Charleston cult band, Minimum Wage of which David is a charter member. I’ll see you there.

First sprouts from seed

A beautiful line of cucumber sprouts is the first seed row to break ground in our 2012 garden. Wow! Nature is amazing. Surgery tomorrow at high noon. They are building me a special hip made from materials that germs can't occupy, so I am hopeful I can get back to a normal life soon. Sparse postings for a few days probably.
